World Nomad Games
If you haven't heard of the World Nomad Games and want to see some of the most amazing competition in horseback riding, archery, falconry, and many other competitive sports of traditional nomadic cultures, take a look at the website for the biennial games, which was first held in Kyrgyzstan in 2014 and was most recently held there in 2018, the World Nomad Games.

Epic of Manas
The Epic of Manas is a great work of poetic literature that holds a central and vital place in the culture of Kyrgyzstan and its history. According to the epic, Manas is a hero of supernatural strength who unites the forty clans of Kyrgyzstan against their enemies to build a Kyrgyz state in the early 9th century AD. Part of the epic trilogy of Manas, Semetey, and Seytek, an introductory article and link to a film describing the Epic of Manas can be found at the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage website.
